  • To give over 100 primary school children across Northamptonshire the chance to thrive — to feel confident, connected, and capable of shaping their future — through 18 transformational TRUST for Children courses delivered by New Leaf Learning.

By raising £45,000, we’ll ensure every participating school in 2026 can access these courses at a subsidised rate, keeping wellbeing, leadership, and resilience at the heart of every classroom.

  • The true cost to run each New Leaf Learning course is £3,500 but we keep it accessible through charitable support.

Currently, schools pay £995, with the remainder subsidised by grants and donations.

This means we need to raise £2,505 per course to continue offering this life-changing programme to children who need it most.

To bridge the gap, we need to raise £45,090 by the end of 2026.

  • When schools join a New Leaf course, we see remarkable change:

    • Children gain confidence, empathy, and motivation to learn.

    • Teachers reconnect with their purpose and wellbeing.

    • Schools strengthen community, collaboration, and belonging.

““Back in October my 8 year old daughter began to show visible signs of emotional distress just by going to school. It was a really difficult and challenging time for us all as a family whilst we tried to navigate her reluctance for school and being around people again.

Now in her 5th and final week on the TRUST programme, the change in her is a miracle. We've had no panic attacks or uncontrollable crying through genuine fear before school each morning and she's spending more and more time now in the classroom.”

Push Your Limits, Change Lives

Meet Tony Hopkin, a Brackley local who set a new Guinness World Record for the longest single-event triathlon — an incredible 515.91 km of swimming, cycling, and running completed in just over 38 hours!

Tony’s challenge wasn’t just about endurance — it was about making a difference. Inspired by the impact New Leaf Learning has had on his autistic son, Tony took on this monumental feat to raise over £6,100 for our programmes supporting children with learning differences through outdoor, nature-based education.

“They gave my son the tools to manage stress and build confidence. I believe this kind of support should be available to every child who needs it.” – Tony Hopkin

I am so very happy with how he has come home every week with positive vibes. What a great difference this has made for us all. I would recommend it to all the schools."

"Schools are seeing more children who need support with their mental health. By having this training and learning strategies ensures children are supported. Schools can take a consistent approach which is kind and nurturing. This training promotes a warm, safe and nurturing approach to behaviour management with children who have suffered trauma."

"This is the best ever. I have learned how to make friends and I know they understand me and will be kind."

  • Teacher feedback

"I am already seeing a positive impact in the school environment, with children who have not even had the opportunity to experience the Trust programme first-hand, simply because I am transferring the skills I've learned into the classroom."
